Q. What is FAQ?
A. Frequently Asked Questions.

Q. How soon after joining can I Role Playing?
A. After you join and have been approved by the Owner. You can tell by looking on the sidebar and seeing if your character is up, meaning you have been approved.

Q. How do I start Role Playing?
A. Start by seeing what's happening. Then you can have you're wolf interact with another. E.g- pretend Saharah is new:
Saharah padded up to Rasho and smiled.
"Hey, I'm new to the pack. What's up?"

Rasho smiled and stood up.
"Nothing much. I'm Rasho, who are you?" so on and so forth.

Q. Does it matter in which perspective I talk?

A. We use third-person, which tends to work nicely and it is easier if everybody uses it. If you cannot use this or have a question, contact the owner through c-box or the Contact Page.

Q. I am told not to change the plot, but to stay active! What am I supposed to do!??!
A. You can still role play, but god modding isn't allowed. For example; if somebody falls in the river:
Do not do control everybody's characters:
"Sako suddenly slipped, falling into the river"
*"Mirage gasped and jumped in after him, swimming swiftly after him and grabbing him, towing him back to shore."* Then there would be no plot! Instead, let them carry the plot while you help out.
"Sako suddenly slipped, falling into the river"
"Mirage gasped and jumped in after him, trying hard to get near enough to help. She attempted to grab his scruff"
"Sako was suddenly whisked away by the current and came up spluttering."
This was everybody has a chance to role play and the story continues.

Q. What is God Modding?
A. When you control other Role Players characters. e.g
RP 1: "Saharah howled in pain as the adder bit her and called out for help. The snake hissed and struck again."
RP 2: "Mirage ran forward and grabbed the snake without getting bitten and killed it. Then dragged Saharah to safety. Saharah ran to the edge of the camp. She called for Sako, bringing him to Saharah."
nobody has a chance to Role Play when this happens.

Q. How can I contact the owners besides the cbox?
A. There is a contact page below the header. If there is trouble, unfairness or anything wrong you can contact us at Mistypackwolves@rocketmail.com. Our email is checked daily and we will respond as fast as possible and deal with the problem.

Q. What is "Spamming" or "Flooding the cbox"?
A. When you fill the cbox yourself with an unnecessary amount of posts. e.g-
"Hi."
"I'm new here."
"Where can I join?"
"Oh."
"Nevermind."
"I'm joining."
"Joined."
Instead of-
"Hi! I'm new here. Where can I join?"
"Oh- nevermind. Joining-"
"I joined! I'll start rping soon."

Flooding also consists of filling the cbox with smiley faces. If you have something to say feel free to say it, but stay considerate =)

Q. Can I be an administrator?
A. Zoraz is the official owner, Kio is the "beta" of the site and owner when Zoraz is gone. You may request to help out with this site and the owners will decide.

Q. What is SSF & SPT?
A. SSF = Story So Far. It can be found beneath the header. SPT = Sketchpack Territory.

Q. What is a header?
A. The main picture of the pack that says "Sketchpack" at the top of the site.

Q. How many wolves can I have?
A. As many as you can stay active with. Five is typical, but whatever you're comfortable with and can role-play.

Q. Can I kill enemy pack wolves without permission?
A. At the end of the post or comment look for the words in parenthesis- the owner will have it written either "(Free For All)" meaning yes, you can without permission, or "(Safe)" meaning none can be killed without permission.

Q. I really want to be alpha or beta! How do I become one?
A. Generally we have two alphas and two betas. If just one alpha or one beta dies, the dead wolf's mate will countinue to be alpha or beta and there will not be another alpha or beta unless the remaining wolf takes a new mate. If both alpha or both betas die, then the alphas or new alphas will choose the new beta or betas.

Q. Alpha, hunter/fighter, healer, what does this all mean?
A. These are the different ranks wolves can hold in Sketchpack.
Alphas rule the pack.
Betas are second in command.

Healers are the doctors of the pack and don't fight, but they do hunt sometimes, but not often.
Hunter/Fights make up most of the pack. They hunt and defend their territory, as well as train young wolves. They are just general packmembers.
Apprintices are also an option to joiners which are adolescent wolves in training.
are the females expecting or nursing pups. (Open to joiners)
Pups are the wolves too young to be trainees.

Q. How do I get my wolves a mate and pups?
A. The best thing to is post in the cbox. We often do 'pre-arranged mates' if you want to call it that. Thats how almost every couple on the pack came to be! And example of what to do is-
Kurow: Can anyone think of a good mate for Shenzi? Id really like her to find one.
Zoraz: How about Frazko? They'd make a cute couple :D
Kurow: Sounds good to me! Do you want to have them meet somewhere?
Zoraz: How about in the forest.
Kurow: Great! Lets get started!
At this point, you garenteed to have a mate and eventually pups.

Faeinora--Female--Healer ~Willowshine

Faeinora is a young, small, light silvery gray wolf with ice blue eyes. She is calm, quiet, and caring, and has wanted to be a healer since a pup. She is almost the exact opposite of her twin littermate, Eleryn. She has a small crush on Arastor. Eleryn and Faeinora were abandoned by a river when they were apprentice-aged wolves, and lived on their own for a few months, just managing to get by. One day Eleryn stumbled into SketchPack territory and ran back to get Faeinora. Together they approached a hunting patrol and asked to join the pack.

Sparr-Male--Hunter/Fighter ~Kio

Sparr is a handsome brown male wolf. He is lean and powerful, and quite attractive. His eyes are stunning amber. Sparr is a pack wolf. He loves the company of others. There has never been a wolf that Sparr hasn’t gotten along with. He loves to be the center of attention, and can be quite the jokester. He has no issue with making a fool of himself wherever and whenever possible- if it makes someone smile, or lifts the mood, he’s fine with it. He always seems to have a group around him, and females tend to hang around him. He is very easygoing and always optimistic. He is quite intelligent, though sometime’s its hidden by a layer of sarcasm and foolishness. He is a hard worker when called to work, though is good at finding an excuse to have fun whenever he can. He does, however, live my one simple code: “The most damaged wolves smile the brightest”. It has been his mantra ever since he was a pup. He has no current crush.

Ananza--Female--Hunter/Fighter ~Sriha123

Ananza has a beautiful Silver-white coat that seems to glimmer in the snowlight. Known for her ability to be caring,understanding, and kind, Ananza is a great Huntress. She is friendly, but knows where her loyalties lie. Even though she tries not to have a short temper, if anything is said against her, or her pack, nothing can stop her, as she knows what to say, and when. She tries to have a bit of knowledge in everything, so that she'll always be prepared. But nothing distinguishes Ananza more than her love of all the connections in nature and beyond. Born from a loner. Ananza's mother and siblings were in a bear attack. Their wherabouts remain unkown. No current crush.

Seedstorm--Male--Hunter/Fighter ~Sriha123

Roulette--Female--Hunter/Fighter ~Zoraz

Roulette is a brown female with a black muzzle and black legs. She is very pretty, but snarky and tends to be hot-tempered. Named after a "game of chance", she is very unpredictable in her ways--sometimes she will be calm and even-tempered, other times she will attack for seemingly no reason. Roulette has been a loner since she was abandoned as a small pup--teaching her at a young age that you can't depend on anybody but yourself. She is a good listener, though only to the few, select wolves she chooses to socialize with. She holds many secrets, some her own, some her friends'. She is loyal to the death, but if somebody crosses her, she will find revenge. She would take a bullet for the select few whom she places her loyalty with. Even those that are closer to her than others don't know her fears, secrets or dreams. She keeps her emotions locked under a ferocious pretence of bared teeth though she isn't bluffing when she shows her fangs or throws a death-glare in your direction. She is generally regarded as hostile, irritable and secretive and she likes it that way. Roulette is very stealthy and well-taught in her skills at hunting and fighting. Unknown Family. Unknown Crush.

Kuoza--Male--Hunter/Fighter ~Kio

Kuoza is a mature gray male with a ratty coat. His eyes are a dark hazel. His fur is long and normally a bit dirty. Kuoza is younger than he often appears due to his maturity and sore joints- he isn't a pup, but he's not ancient either. He is quiet, much preferring to hang alone than in a group of any sort. He doesn’t enjoy the company of enegetic, rowdy wolves very much, though he adores pups. He doesn’t smile very often. It’s not that he’s not usually in a good mood- he normally is. He loves nature, and the forest, and the rain, and quiet walks alone. He is very peaceful and not much of a fighter- unless someone is threatening his pack or his forest. Then he is more than willing to defend with his life. He is also quite intelligent and has a great memory- especial for old pack lore and ancient myths. He loves laying under a tree in the evenings and telling stories of great battles, escapes, and hunts. He is a kind wolf at heart despite being outwardly quiet. He has no family to speak of and no mate or crush, though he would secretly like one.

Eleryn--Female--Hunter/Fighter ~Willowshine

Eleryn is a silvery red young wolf with amber eyes. She is very energetic, straightforward, impulsive, and, well, you probably get the point. She is best friends and littermates with Faeinora, who is almost the exact opposite of her. Eleryn and Faeinora were abandoned by a river when they were apprentice-aged wolves, and lived on their own for a few months, just managing to get by. One day Eleryn stumbled into SketchPack territory and ran back to get Faeinora. Together they approached a hunting patrol and asked to join the pack.

Desire--Female--Hunter/Fighter ~Zoraz

Desire is a gorgeous pure white female. Her eyes are a hypnotic blue that often causes double takes because of their shocking intensity. Desire is very kind and caring but she can be as fierce as a rattlesnake in battle. She is quick and agile and loves practicing fighting moves with a friend or her brother, Ekron. She is pleasant to be around and is usually smiling and in a good mood. Her past she leaves forgotten, though those who have known her long know it was very painful, but know nothing of how she got to Sketchpack. No current crush.

Raiden--Female--Hunter/Figher ~Kio

Raiden {Ray-den} is a pitch black she-wolf with cool amber eyes and not a speck of white on her body. She is lean and strong, and very fast. She is the quiet type, but isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She has a dominating demeanor, so others tend to listen to her whether or not she realizes it. This is not to say that she’s demanding or power-hungry, just a slight bit of a natural leader. She can be extremely sarcastic, especially with those she knows well. It takes a while to gain her trust, but once you do, you couldn’t imagine a more devoted friend. Her sister is Siku and she has no mate. She will not say if she has a crush.
